Regular Visits at Bryn Mawr Chiropractic

Typical Office Visit
A typical office visit usually takes 15 - 20 minutes. I use a variety of techniques based on my 26 years of experience - these include both manual adjusting and more gentle instrument adjusting. It depends on what I think your body needs at the time, along with your preferences.
Adjusting Techniques
A note about adjusting techniques.
There are many ways to adjust the spine. For most of my career, my main focus has been manual (hand) adjustments.
In the last few years I have added some new & very gentle instrument adjusting techniques. I have found that not only are they very effective, but they are also less threatening to many people.
In addition,I now have the ability to analyze and adjust in different postures: standing, sitting, lying down and/or in the position of injury or dysfunction/subluxation. This can be very significant because sometimes a subluxation (area of nerve interference) can only be observed in a certain posture. For example, if a person was in a car accident, some of their subluxations may only be revealed and completely corrected while they are seated.
